How it works
JobConnect connects trainees to industry through their institutions
Connecting trainees to industry through their institutions. Every party is verified by someone who knows them, so employers can trust applicants and trainees can trust adverts.
Institutions
- Register with your institution details, departments and a contact person.
- The JobConnect team verifies the registration (or declines it with a reason you can correct).
- Your contact person signs in and verifies every trainee and graduate who registers under your institution, checking their admission number.
- Follow where your trainees apply and how far they get.
Industry
- Register your company, its sector, contact details and a contact person.
- After verification, post vacancies for Jobs, Industrial Attachments or Internships.
- Each vacancy is checked by the JobConnect team before it goes live.
- Review applications, shortlist, invite to interview, make offers and confirm hires — applicants are notified at every step.
Trainees & Staff
- Register under your institution and department with your admission number. "Staff" means graduates who have completed their studies — not employees of the institution.
- Your institution verifies you. Once approved, you can sign in.
- Complete your profile and upload your CV, then apply for as many opportunities as you like.
- Fairness rule: only one trainee from the same institution can apply for any single advertisement — first come, first served. Withdrawing frees the slot for a classmate.
